A humorous card for book lovers who wish people would use a bookmark! Featuring Charlotte Brontë's heroine Jane Eyre.
Jane Eyre handed over the novel with trepidation. What if Mrs Fairfax was the sort of woman who turned down page corners.
The card has been designed in collage using an illustration by John H Bacon with an endpaper from Lord Ormont & His Aminta by George Meredith (1899).
The image is made using papers carefully cut from well read (often disintegrating) books and assembled by hand to create the photographed/scanned image.
The card is A6 which measures 10 cm wide by 14.8 cm tall.
It is professionally printed with a finished surface on 300 gsm card. The interior is blank for your own message and there is no finish to this so that it is easy to write on with any type of pen or pencil.
Each card comes with a brown linear textured envelope.
