About The Forgotten Library
Taking inspiration from beautiful vintage and antiquarian literature, The Forgotten Library began in 2011 and continues to evolve from those early days of trying to find ways to repurpose unloved books.

After making hundreds of clocks I began to collage the gorgeous illustrations of Victorian novels to create humorous cards and really love seeing people smile and laugh at the designs when I take them to market. These designs now appear on coasters, bags, bookmarks and postcards to give customers more product choices.
One of the most popular products at markets is the range of keyrings all containing original book pages. I love hearing the stories behind the choices people make to buy one for themselves or as a gift.
As a one woman micro business I undertake every role from creating the products to fulfilling orders, balancing the books and providing customer service. Occasionally I get 'help' (also known as hinderance) from feline library assistants.

I have to work full time in a different role to pay the bills but I love spending as much time as I can creating and working on all things The Forgotten Library.

I loved using this but the outbuilding I had this set up in is no longer accessible. If you are looking to purchase one I will be selling this and some of the type and accessories.
