About The Forgotten Library

Taking inspiration from beautiful vintage and antiquarian literature, The Forgotten Library began in 2011 and is constantly evolving from those early days of trying to find ways to repurpose unloved books.  The current range includes literary themed cards and gifts produced using a variety of techniques, such as mixed media collage, kiln fired glass work and traditional hot foil printing.

I also sell a hand picked selection of vintage books, ephemera and homewares.

I've always loved creating things and all products are designed or made by me working from a small home office and a lean-to building out the back which houses my vintage hot foiling press and larger equipment.

As a one woman micro business I undertake every role from creating the products to fulfilling orders and providing customer service.  Occasionally I get 'help' (also known as hinderance) from feline library assistants.
