Bookmark featuring Marianne Dashwood from Jane Austen's novel Sense & Sensibility.  Perfect for book lovers and lenders whether you prefer to peer carefully into a novel or happily open it wide.

The text on the front reads - Marianne was distressed to discover that Willoughby was in fact someone who liked to crack a book spine.

Designed as a collage using original book illustrations and endpapers that are cut and assembled traditionally then photographed/scanned to add the text digitally. This bookmark includes an illustration by Hugh Thomson from a 1904 edition of Sense & Sensibility by Jane Austen and a marbled endpaper from The Business Encyclopaedia and Legal Adviser (1903).

Measurements are 17.3cm tall by 5.5cm wide.  Professionally printed on 400gsm board with a matte laminated finish for durability.
