Humorous card perfect for a book collector (or clumsy tea drinker). The caption reads - After twenty minutes of histrionics Amelia began to wish that she had not confessed to spilling her tea on the first edition of Byron's Childe Harold she had borrowed from Emily.
The card has been designed in collage using a vintage illustration by C E Brock from a 1906 edition of Sense & Sensibility by Jane Austen on a background endpaper from Hypatia by Charles Kingsley from 1891.
The image is made using papers carefully cut from well read (often disintegrating) books and assembled by hand to create the photographed/scanned image.
The card is A6 which measures 10 cm wide by 14.8 cm tall.
It is professionally printed with a finished surface on 300 gsm card. The interior is blank for your own message and there is no finish to this so that it is easy to write on with any type of pen or pencil.
Each card comes with a brown linear textured envelope.
