This clock has been created from an original copy of The Wonder Book by Nathaniel Hawthorne. This lovely 1965 edition has a beautiful patterned cloth cover in a beige/brown linen colour featuring mythological characters Medusa & Pegasus in a brick red.
The book has been read and enjoyed by a previous owner so may show signs of wear to the cover.
Measurements are approximately 14.2cm x 21.8cm. It is designed to be hung on a wall but can also be displayed on a shelf or table. There is a folding stand included in the box for stability but if your shelf is unlikely to be nudged the thickness of this book means it will stand indpendently.
The quartz movement has a sweep (non-ticking) second hand for quieter operation which is ideal in a nursery environment or for anyone who doesn't like to hear a ticking clock. Operated using one AA 1.5V battery (not supplied).
