A classic literature card featuring a quotation from Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen.
Jane, who was not so light, nor so much in the habit of running as Elizabeth, soon lagged behind, ... "Oh, Papa, what news? what news? ..."
Pride and Prejudice Jane Austen
The card has been designed in collage using an illustration by Charles E. Brock from Pride and Prejudice (1918 edition) with an endpaper from The Poetical Works of Lord Byron (Oxford edition 1907).
The image is made using papers carefully cut from well read (often disintegrating) books and assembled by hand to create the photographed/scanned image.
The card is A6 which measures 10 cm wide by 14.8 cm tall.
It is professionally printed with a finished surface on 300 gsm card. The interior is blank for your own message and there is no finish to this so that it is easy to write on with any type of pen or pencil.
Each card comes with a brown linear textured envelope.
