This postcard features Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson from the classic detective fiction of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
Dr. Watson admired Holmes deeply but just once he would have liked to open his newspaper without finding the crossword already finished.
The image is made using papers carefully cut from well read and damaged editions of vintage and antiquarian books which are assembled by hand to create the photographed/scanned image.
