This postcard features Marianne Dashwood from Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen; with a humorous message.
Marianne was distressed to discover that Willoughby was in fact someone who liked to crack a book spine.
The image is made using papers carefully cut from well read and damaged editions of vintage and antiquarian books which are assembled by hand to create the photographed/scanned image.
