This volume with a lovely embossed cover is entitled The London of Dickens. Written by Walter Dexter and first published in 1923, this is the 1930 third edition with black and white photo illustrations.
There are 15 routes, most are suggested to take about 2 hours. Obviously this was written 90+ years ago so not everything will be exactly as it was but most should still be walkable and recognisable. The author points out locations from Dickens own life and places from his books. The index at the back covers book and story references by location.
The names of various previous owners are written or stamped on the first page.
All vintage books are previously owned, often by many different people and in various worn conditions. Please examine photographs carefully and ask any questions if you need more information.
