Literary humour card featuring The Cheshire Cat from Alice's Adventures In Wonderland. Perfect for crazy cat ladies everywhere.
The Cheshire Cat was most grateful for his ability to disappear, as yet another crazy cat lady approached.
This card is a collage design featuring an illustration by John Tenniel taken from a 1927 edition of Alice's Adventures In Wonderland & Through The Looking-Glass by Lewis Carroll. The background endpaper is taken from The Imperial Dictionary of the English Language by John Ogilvie from 1884. The image is made using papers carefully cut from well read (often disintegrating) editions of the book and assembled by hand to create the final photographed/scanned image.
The card is A6 which measures 10 cm wide by 14.8 cm tall. It is professionally printed with a finished surface on 300 gsm card. The interior is blank for your own message and there is no finish to this so that it is easy to write in with any type of pen or pencil. Each card comes with a brown linear textured envelope.
