This clock has been created from an original copy of the book Appley Dapply's Nursery Rhymes by Beatrix Potter. Illustrated on the cover with a mouse carrying a tray of tarts.
The book has been read and enjoyed by a previous owner so may show signs of wear to the cover. These have white covers and there is a choice of black or gold hands.
Measurements are approximately 11 cm x 14.5 cm (4.3" x 5.7"). It is designed to be hung on a wall but can also be displayed on a shelf or table with the folding stand that is included in the box.
The quartz movement has a sweep (non-ticking) second hand for quieter operation which is ideal in a nursery environment or for anyone who doesn't like to hear a ticking clock. Operated using one AA 1.5V battery (not supplied).
