Sense & Sensibility by Jane Austen. This edition also includes Emma & Persuasion. Published by Thomas Nelson in 1907 the novels are printed on very fine onion/bible paper so it is still a neat small book yet contains all three books.
The outer binding is a soft leather with an attractive Art Nouveau style decoration on the front. Sadly it is deteriorating as it appears the book may have been damp at some point so there are white marks to the leather which is cracked and discoloured in parts and signs of water marks to some pages.
Marbled endpapers with an inscription giving it as a gift in 1918.
There is also a dried flower between two pages which I have left inside.
Please note this is a vintage book with flaws, or characteristics of it's previous journeys across bookshelves, depending on how you think of it. Study the photographs to help understand the condition of this book and if you have any questions please get in touch.
